With the launch of the new MyOntarioTech Employees site, you may have noticed that it’s now easier to access internal tools, news, and employee resources - all in one place in your Ontario Tech Mobile app or desktop. If your unit maintains instructional web pages or PDFs (like how-tos for vacation balance, web-time entry, or pay information), now’s a good time to:
- Double-check your links: Make sure any links in documents or webpages go through MyOntarioTech first, not directly to systems or forms. This helps prevent access issues and ensures consistent navigation.
- Review your instructions: If you have step-by-step guides that walk users through accessing systems or content, please update the first step to begin at MyOntarioTech. The improved layout means many detailed navigation steps can now be simplified.
We’ll reach out to individual units in the coming weeks to gather feedback and discuss any refinements.
