Artificial intelligence (AI) tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot are increasingly being used in business environments to produce clear, effective, and purpose-driven written content. When guided by well-crafted prompts, these tools can summarize information, generate ideas, support problem-solving, and assist with a wide range of text-based tasks—saving time and improving communication outcomes. This virtual session introduces the fundamentals of prompt engineering, equipping employees with practical strategies for using generative AI tools effectively and responsibly in a business context, while also addressing key ethical and organizational considerations.

Learning objectives
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Select and use a generative AI tool to create text from prompts

  • Apply prompt-engineering techniques to optimize text generation for specific business needs

  • Implement AI-generated text effectively and responsibly in a business setting
