Calling all new graduates and early career faculty at Ontario Tech University!

The Women in Research Council is inviting all new or soon to be graduates and early career faculty members to join them for the Launching Your Career: Effective Job Offer Negotiation Strategies for New Graduates. In this session, you will learn effective strategies for discussing your salary and the terms, service load, compensation inclusions (i.e., benefits, allowances, etc.), identifying negotiable aspects beyond the base salary, developing self-advocacy skills to communicate a strong case for your value and worth, and more.

When: Wednesday, November 12, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Where: Online

Who: Open to Ontario Tech new graduates and early-career faculty of all genders.

Goal: Gain insight from faculty members outside of your circle to broaden your knowledge base.
