Help shape AI support at Ontario Tech

January 29, 2026

The AI Platform Selection and Training Committee is conducting a short survey to better understand how students, faculty, staff and researchers are using artificial intelligence (AI) tools.

The goal is to learn how AI is currently being used across campus so the university can provide more meaningful support, training and resources to meet community needs. This is not about limiting or regulating tool usage.

Whether you're already using AI tools or just starting to explore them, your insights will help inform future services, workshops and technology decisions.

The survey covers topics such as:

  • Which AI tools you're using (if any)
  • Tasks and academic/work-related uses of AI
  • Your comfort level with AI technologies
  • Preferred ways to learn about AI tools
  • Barriers to adoption and ethical considerations

The survey will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete. Your feedback will directly help shape the university's approach to digital tools and AI integration.
