Research Excellence Awards Celebration - November 11

Staff and faculty are invited to gather on Tuesday, November 11, from 6 to 9 p.m., to celebrate the recipients of the 2025 Research Excellence and Research Excellence Chairs Program Awards.
The evening will feature introductions and research presentations by the Dean (or a representative) for each awardee, followed by a reception.
The Research Excellence Awards will be presented in three categories to the following outstanding researchers:

Emerging Researcher Category – Dr. Nisha Rani Agarwal, Associate Professor, Faculty of Science

Mid-Career Researcher Category – Dr. Peter Lewis, Associate Professor, Faculty of Business and Information
-
Established Researcher Category – Dr. Atef Mohany, Professor, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science
The Research Excellence Chairs Program Awards will be presented in three categories to:

Stream 1 (Transform) Category – Dr. Sheldon Williamson, Professor, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science

Stream 2 (Ignite) Category – Dr. Min Dong, Professor, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science

Stream 3 (Social Innovation) Category – Dr. Robyn Ruttenberg-Rozen, Associate Professor, Faculty of Education
