Aimée Danis joins National Indigenous University Senior Leaders’ Association

Aimée Danis, Director of Indigenous and Cultural Relations, Indigenous Education and Cultural Services, has been approved as a member of the National Indigenous University Senior Leaders’ Association (NIUSLA), effective August 28.
NIUSLA brings together Indigenous senior leaders from universities across Canada to advance Indigenous leadership, shape policies, and support priorities that honour Indigenous perspectives in higher education. This membership highlights Aimée’s commitment to building meaningful relationships, fostering reconciliation, and strengthening Indigenous voices within the academic sector.
Through this role, Aimée will collaborate with peers nationwide and contribute to the advancement of Indigenous education and cultural engagement at Ontario Tech and beyond.
