OPG, Ontario Tech and Ontario Science Centre launch WattNext: A new energy literacy program for Ontario

Ontario Tech University has partnered with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) and the Ontario Science Centre to launch WattNext, an innovative energy literacy initiative designed to spark curiosity, grow energy knowledge and inspire the next generation of Ontario’s energy workforce.
Through interactive exhibits, curriculum-aligned programming, community events and online resources, WattNext will make energy education more accessible and engaging for learners of all ages. Ontario Tech’s leadership in energy education, research and innovation will be central to shaping this initiative, helping to create meaningful pathways for students into Ontario’s clean energy future workforce.
