Take Our Kids to Work Day

Take Our Kids to Work Day is an annual career exploration event, held every November, where Grade 9 students across Canada spend the day in the life of a working professional. Students are hosted by parents, friends or relatives at workplaces across the country. The experiences on this day enhance the student’s understanding of the realities of working life and supports them in their own career exploration to make more informed choices. The event also gives parents the opportunity to discuss career prospects with their children, allows our institution to share knowledge, experience and advice around education, career choices, and relevant skills required in today’s workplace.
- When: Wednesday, November 5, 2025
- Time: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with the cohort of student attendees
- Where: RBC Meeting Place, Business and Information Technology Building, Room 1055

- North Campus Tour
- Career stops
- VIP Appearances
- Pizza lunch
- Afternoon with the parent/sponsor
