Dr. Langis Roy to begin new chapter in his career

Dr. Langis Roy will step down from his role as Professor in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at Ontario Tech University, effective August 23. He has accepted the position of Vice-President, Research and Innovation at Lakehead University.
Dr. Roy joined the university in 2015 as Dean of the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, serving two consecutive five-year terms. In September 2020, he was appointed Interim Deputy Provost while continuing in his role as Dean. He later became the university’s inaugural Deputy Provost, serving from January 2022 to October 2023.
We thank Dr. Roy for his contributions and wish him continued success in this new chapter of his career.
