5th Annual Mental Health in the Digital Age Conference on November 24

The Mental Health in the Digital Age Lab and Graduate students from the Frazer Faculty of Education are proud to present the 5th Annual "Mental Health in the Digital Age" Conference on November 24. The conference is a free, virtual event open to all community members.

The theme of the conference is 'Mental Health in the Digital Age: Exploring the Intersection of Mental Health, Technology, and Learning.   

We have over 20 presentations to choose from on topics such as older adults and gaming, school cell phone bans, problematic technology use (PIU), TikTok and body image, and the power of math influencers.    

Our keynote speaker is the Hon. Senator Katherine Hay, who has dedicated a significant portion of her life to public service and advancing healthcare services for women, children, and youth. She is the former CEO of Kids Help Phone and was named one of WXN’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women, one of Canada’s Top 25 Women of Influence, and one of Canada’s Top 10 Women Leaders in Digital Health. You can register for the conference on the eventbrite website. Once registered, you will receive the full program guide for the evening, which runs from 6:30 to 9 p.m. (EST). Throughout the evening, participants can choose their desired sessions.
